Joseph Gyamfi (Joe) is a Business Analyst and currently works at AAA Club Alliance, Wilmington, DE. He grew up Ghana and came to the USA to further his studies. He started his career as an Environmental Engineer with State of North Carolina and then went on to work as Financial Data Analyst with a healthcare consulting firm in Durham, NC after graduating from UNC Kenan-Flagler Business School.
It was during his business school education that his long-held passion and vision for giving back to the town where he grew up, Piase and its surrounding communities materialized when he teamed up with his friend Kirby and few other friends in the MBA program to establish Give Back Africa Foundation (GBAF) in 2012. To date, Joe continues to find ways and opportunities to donate educational materials – backpacks, K-12 books, computers, school supplies and other learning materials to help underprivileged kids in the targeted communities in Ghana.
Ultimately, he would like to see a community library and a playground for kids – his dearest two projects completed and commissioned for the Piase Township and its nearby communities in future
